The Opportunity
The Tools & Construction Technology Specialist who will be accountable for supporting the maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of construction tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Support assessment and continuous improvements of tools and technology to support construction
Collection and application of best practices and lessons learned
Travel to projects for setup and support
Understand Black & Veatch IT standards to support compliance with IT processes for technology
Demonstrate and communicate technology benefits to external and internal clients, including development of training material, presentations, and multimedia formats
Support coordination of technology efforts across Black & Veatch divisions
Management Responsibilities
Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Related Field (preferred)
Experience: 4 - 6 years of relevant construction experience.
Working knowledge of construction work practices.
Working knowledge of construction processes & procedures.
Some related open shop and/or union experience required.
Minimum Qualifications
